The Italian Greyhound is a very old breed, dating back over 2000 years. These little sighthounds are truly a delight to share my life with. Although not for everyone, they can be very difficult to house train, are delicate, should not be left unsupervised for long periods of time, and should never be off leash in an unfenced environment. I suggest anyone interested in an Italian Greyhound should research the breed thoroughly before deciding to add one to your family. Dogs are not disposable!
